What a great way to finish my 2024/5 season than on top of the podium at the season-ending GB Alpine Championships, held for the first time in Santa Caterina, Italy.
As a GB athlete, competing at the GB Alpine Championships means a lot to me. This is a significant event for GB alpine skiers, and an opportunity to benchmark my progress by racing against elite-level national and international racers.
Santa Caterina was a fabulous venue choice, and we were blessed with bluebird skies and perfect snow conditions.
The GB Alpine Championships put GB alpine racers in the spotlight, and they have been a launchpad for some of our best-known GB World Cup racers. I love racing at this event, and it’s also an opportunity to meet and chat with the other GB racers.
Held this year from March 28, my campaign began with the FIS British National and Junior Giant Slalom races, followed by the FIS British National and Junior Slalom races.
On April 3, I was delighted to take the British National Junior Giant Slalom (U21) title. I finished second on the British Women’s Podium and received the Mappin Salver.
On April 5, in the British National Slalom Championships, I finished in second place on the International Podium and first on the British Women’s Podium. Being presented with the Evie Pinching Salver for the second year was a special moment. Evie was a speed skier in the 1930s, and her story is so inspiring.
The GB Alpine Championships are always a key focus for me at the end of what is a long season. These results give great confidence in my continued development over the past season and my determination to succeed.
It takes physical and mental strength to maintain high performance levels and manage the ups and downs of life on the ski racing circuit. My passion for my sport and training my body and mind to develop resilience and mental fitness motivates me to keep moving forward.

Thank you for supporting me
As always, a big thank you goes to my equipment sponsors and all the amazing people who make it possible for me to continue my incredible journey as a self-funded athlete.
National funding is only available to GB’s World Cup athletes, so up-and-coming alpine racers at the Europa Cup and FIS levels have no support.
I can’t put into words how grateful I am to my supporters for the opportunity to train and compete. Thank you.
Do you want to join me on my journey? I am seeking financial backing to support me in my next steps to the top. Please find further information and contact details on my fundraising page.
